You may not need a full-time CFO.

Most growing businesses don't need another full-time executive. They need the right finance leadership at the right time.

The Finance Office matches the problem with the right level of finance leadership — rather than automatically selling you a CFO.
  • 01 Reporting comes too late The numbers arrive after the decisions have already been made.
  • 02 The CEO is still the CFO The owner is carrying finance judgement on top of running the business.
  • 03 Growth is stretching the team The business is preparing to scale, raise capital, acquire or sell — and there aren't enough hands to run the process.
  • 04 Finance needs stronger leadership Stronger leadership, streamlined processes and better use of modern tools.
  • 05 Cash flow isn't reliable enough Forecasting can’t be trusted to guide spending, hiring or timing.
  • 06 No finance partner at the table Big decisions are being made without forward-looking financial input.

Where your finance function is, and where it needs to go

Every business moves along the same spectrum as it grows. The Finance Office starts where bookkeeping ends.

AI is changing how finance teams operate. The Finance Office helps businesses identify where automation and AI can improve reporting, forecasting, workflows and decision-making — without chasing technology for technology's sake.

AI readiness assessment

Evaluate current systems, data quality, processes and opportunities.

Finance automation

Identify repetitive workflows suitable for automation.

Management intelligence

Improve dashboards, reporting and access to financial insight.

AI adoption roadmap

Prioritize practical initiatives based on ROI, risk and readiness.

The Finance Office AI Readiness Review

A fixed-fee review of your finance systems, data and workflows to identify where automation and AI can deliver practical improvements.

You receive

  • An assessment of your current systems, processes and data readiness.
  • A prioritized list of opportunities, with expected benefits, implementation effort and key risks.
  • A practical roadmap setting out what to tackle first and how to proceed.

Opportunities might include automating monthly reporting, improving cash-flow forecasting, identifying missing revenues, or overlapping supplier costs and subscriptions.

We agree the scope, fee and delivery timetable upfront. Your team can take the roadmap forward, or we can scope implementation support with you.
